What is a bariatric diet?

This is often the hardest and the most confusing part of life after bariatric surgery: Being a weight loss surgery patient does not mean that you will never enjoy a meal again. Low-carb, low-fat meals can be flavorful and filling if you take the time to plan and prepare your meals. No one meal plan is right for every bariatric patient. Make adjustments and speak with your surgeon about your diet.

Keep it Healthy
Weight Loss Surgery is a lifestyle challenge, balancing moderation and healthy food choices. Managing your protein intake, making healthy food choices, learning how your body reacts to different foods, building meals, and menu plans that moderate protein and fat intake, are keys to the process.
